It's a completely separate game so make sure that you select game mode with word 'D2R' in it, otherwise you will get items for old Diablo 2!Īlthough there is no cross-play, you can still access your character on different devices with cross-progression but you have to purchase D2R license for each device separately. With the exception of Single Player (offline mode) save files, you are not be able to import anything to D2R from the old Diablo 2. It means that players from all corners of the world are able play together, if they are using the same device. There is one global server (no Europe, East, West, Asia realms) and PC version has three regions you can jump between (Europe, Americas, Asia).
